Death of a Beloved
("Make I Alohaia", Nupepa Kuokoa, November 25, 1871)
George M. Kaawa, of Waikane, Koolaupoko, passed away on November 10 at 3 p.m. He was a child greatly loved by his parents. He was born in Kaupo, Maui, on March 26, 1868, at 9 a.m. When his parents returned to live at Waikane to serve as preacher for that church, they went with their children until the Lord called on their beloved child. He spent 3 years, 6 months, 13 days, and 18 hours in this world before passing on to eternal life. His mother's heart is grieving.
