Notice is hereby given to all persons with this announcement that my husband, Noah Kaa-a, has no right to rent, sell or mortgage to any person or persons the lands of my first husband, A. A. Coe, deceased. Namely, these are the lands in Kaupo, Maui at Pukaauhuhu as well as at Niumalu, in Manawainui, together with horses, cattle, donkeys and mules branded with the mark of my aforementioned first husband. I am the owner of said property, and unless I sign my name on a document signifying my approval, my husband has no authority to convey or assign any of the property mentioned in this notice. Let it be known to all.

Regarding the erroneous announcement of my wife, Mrs. Honolulu Noa Kaa-a, published in issue No. 27, she is being completely false. We are not on bad terms even a little. I have not left her. We are living together. We are not in disagreement, as has been announced to the public. There is no truth to this. I had been off at various places seeking means for both of us and not gone due to a quarrel. All of my wife’s property is in my hands, not hers. This is what is stated in law, that the husband is the owner of all of his wife’s property.
