A. V. Marciel1 was over from Kaupo for the Fair as the guest of Sheriff Clem Crowell. He was taken for a motor trip to Lahaina and visited the former capital of the county for the first time in 35 years. The last time he made the trip from Wailuku to the West Maui town he traversed the now lost trail through Iao Valley.
