Alalakeiki

Comments:Cave located between Nuu and Waiopai. Described by Bishop Museum researcher Thomas Maunapau in an account of a journey to Kaupo in May 1922: "Ia makou e naue nei, ua kuhikuhi mai ko maua hoa i kekahi ana i ke kula, aole no i mamao loa mai kahi a makou e hele nei, o ka inoa o keia ana o Alalakeiki." (As we went along, our friend [Joseph Marciel] showed us a cave on a plain not far from where we were traveling. The name of this cave is Alalakeiki.)
