Waipuna (Puualaea)

Comments:Portion (ili) of Puualaea ahupuaa mentioned in Land Commission Award 542 (1854).

Also a burial site described by Kaupo native Jacob Mau in the report "He Moolelo no Maui Hikina–Kalialinui i uka A Me na Aina o lalo": "Waipuna in Kaupo. A narrow flat land that was traditionally planted, the cliff sides were filled with caves that had been used for interments, with the openings sealed with rocks."
